Your responses are reviewed by a Nebraska board certified doctor who determines your treatment plan based on the symptoms and how you answer the questions.

Receive your diagnosis and treatment plan within one hour, guaranteed. Be sure to include your pharmacy of choice. If your treatment requires a prescription, we'll send it electronically to your pharmacy of choice. 

If the doctor determines that your symptoms require a face-to-face visit, information is provided on how to schedule an appointment with a provider at one of the three MHCS’ clinics.

What is Memorial ezVisit?

Memorial ezVisit is virtual, online care with a Nebraska board certified doctor. It’s an affordable, easy way for you to receive a diagnosis and treatment recommendations for common, minor illnesses. Best of all, you can use it anytime 24/7 and anywhere in Nebraska.

How does Memorial ezVisit work?

All you do is answer a few questions about your health symptoms using your computer, tablet or phone and request a virtual care ezVisit. A Nebraska board certified doctor will review your symptoms and recommend treatment to you. You’ll hear back from the doctor within an hour. Your diagnosis and treatment recommendations, even a prescription if needed – will all be sent to you online.

Who is eligible?

Memorial ezVisit is available to anyone in Nebraska.

What conditions do we treat?

Memorial ezVisit is highly effective at safely diagnosing and treating common, minor medical concerns such as:

  • Bladder infections
  • Cold sores, canker sores or fever blisters
  • Colds, coughs or sore throats
  • Eczema or dermatitis
  • Flu symptoms and fever
  • Pink eye (conjunctivitis)
  • Sinus infections
  • Yeast infections

If an online diagnosis is not right for your symptoms, you will not be charged for your online ezVisit. We will refer you to the care you need.

Who makes the diagnosis?

A Nebraska board certified doctor will review your symptoms and recommend treatment to help you feel better. The doctor can even prescribe medications, if needed, and send the prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.

How long does it take?

It only takes about five-10 minutes to complete the questionnaire about your symptoms. The number of questions depends on your answers and symptoms in order for the doctor to accurately diagnose your condition. Once you complete and submit your questionnaire, you will receive your diagnosis and treatment recommendations from the doctor within an hour.

 If your condition is not suitable for online diagnosis and treatment, you will be told this immediately and will not be charged for your ezVisit. You will then receive referral information for the care you need.

When can I do a Memorial ezVisit?

Memorial ezVisit is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

What does my ezVisit cost?

Each Memorial ezVisit only costs $35. You can pay with a credit card or your health savings account (HSA). If your condition is not suitable for online diagnosis and treatment, you will be told this immediately and will not be charged for your ezVisit. You will then receive referral information for the care you need.

Is it covered by insurance?

Check with your insurance company to see if Memorial ezVisit is covered by your insurance. If your insurance covers Memorial ezVisit, you can submit your receipt to your insurance company following your visit. We cannot guarantee you will be reimbursed.

Can I use my medical flexible spending account?

Memorial ezVisit may be allowed through your medical flexible account spending program. Please check with your company for final approval. If you have a debit/credit card for your flexible account, you can use it to pay for the service or you can submit your receipt for reimbursement. Remember to always keep your receipt in case you need additional documentation for your company.

Can I get a prescription?

The Nebraska board certified doctors can prescribe medications if your condition warrants a prescription. We treat minor health conditions, and do not provide prescriptions for pain medications or narcotics. Memorial ezVisit is not an online pharmacy. You are responsible for the cost of any prescriptions, over the counter treatments or follow-up visits you may need.

How safe is my personal information?

All of your personal information and data is encrypted and protected, so you can feel confident that your personal health information is secure and confidential.

Can I use Memorial ezVisit instead of going to my family doctor?

In some cases when you have a minor health problem and your doctor’s office isn’t open, Memorial ezVisit is a good option for you to receive convenient care. However, Memorial ezVisit doesn’t replace the need for a primary care physician. If you don’t have a primary care doctor, we can help you find one.
