Stay Open, Stay Healthy

Stay Open, Stay Healthy

A message from Memorial Health Care Systems in partnership with Seward County Chamber & Development Partnership

We recognize that this is a challenging time. As individuals, we are bombarded with messages surrounding COVID-19 and making decisions that will protect ourselves and our families. As a professional health care organization, we are challenged to educate our patients, be empathetic to our colleagues, and serve as the source of truth for our community. Our communities must come together to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Rates of COVID-19 infection are continuing to rise at an alarming pace in Seward County and across Nebraska.

To help with slowing the spread we are raising awareness efforts and have created an awareness effort for Seward County called: Stay Open, Stay Healthy.

This campaign was created to enable you to easily share credible information on your website and social pages and encourage all community members to serve as a positive example within our community. Mayor Eickmeier, Memorial Health Care Systems, and six area schools issued a news release on October 28, announcing the campaign and showcasing a unified front. Please join this countywide effort to encourage voluntary participation with Avoiding the Three Cs: 1) crowded places, 2) close contacts, and 3) confined spaces.

How you can help

Memorial Health Care Systems and Seward County Chamber & Development Partnership will share content on our social media channels Nov. 9 to Dec. 19. To maximize the impact of our messaging, we ask you to:

    • Engage with the posts by liking, sharing, and commenting as much as possible.
    • You can also use these posts on your own website or social media pages.
    • We encourage you to find ways to promote the ‘Stay Open, Stay Healthy’, ‘Stronger Together’, and ‘Avoid the 3 C’s’ messaging in your own ways!
    • Pick up your ‘Stay Open, Stay Healthy’ for your store front from the chamber office beginning 11/9/20. *While supplies last.

Visit our COVID-19 page to view the community Video and download additional material.

Seward County is going in the wrong direction with COVID-19. Together, we can turn this around. We need to keep our communities healthy and prevent further disruption of any business. If we all work together, we can help slow the spread of COVID-19.
