Kurt was born and raised in Pender, NE. His interest in healthcare began at a young age as his mom and aunt worked in healthcare. Also influential in his career path was a hometown Physician Assistant and Kurt's experiences as a nurse aid while in high school. Kurt enjoys serving patients of all ages striving to provide effective and efficient medical care, while conveying a compassionate and professional demeanor in any medical setting. Kurt and his wife Shannon are the proud parents of Braden, Marisa and Ethan and their family enjoys sports and being active. Kurt provides emergency care through Memorial Hospital Emergency Department, assists patients with chronic disease care management and cares for walk-in urgent care patients.
