Memorial Health Care Systems recognized with a 2025 Performance Leadership Award; CEO Roger Reamer named as a CEO to Know

Memorial Health Care Systems (MHCS) has earned a 2025 Performance Leadership Award for excellence in Quality. Compiled by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Performance Leadership Awards program recognizes top quartile performance (i.e., 75th percentile or above) among rural hospitals in Quality, Outcomes and/or Patient Perspective. Concurrently, Roger J. Reamer, CEO of MHCS, was named as one of Becker's Hospital Review’s Critical Access Hospital's CEOs to Know. 

Both MHCS and Reamer have received recognition in the past. Reamer stated, “The Performance Leadership Award shows MHCS’s commitment and dedication to care.” Reamer has served as CEO of Memorial Health Care Systems for 25 years. He earned his master’s in business administration from Webster University and has served on various boards and committees throughout his tenure.

The Performance Leadership Awards are selected from the Chartis Center for Rural Health’s Critical Access Hospital list. Becker's Hospital Review’s Critical Access Hospital's CEOs to Know are based on nominations and editorial research.
